Wm. Miles, Wm. Cook and Mary Cooke sell to John Person, the son of John Person, the elder, 100 acres on Blackwater adj. John Oliver, to remain in poss. of John Person, the elder and wife Frances until John Person the son be of age. This a deed of gift 10 April 1665.
Wm. Cook, Jr. sells to Thomas Woodward 360 acres land for 3000 lbs. tbco. adj. where Phillip Haniford now lives, to Thomas Blakes, 10 Nov 1665. Teste, John (X) Thomas. Ack. by Joan wife of said Cook.
At a court in IOW 9 Feb 1666. Certificate issued to Arthur Ruthra for 200 acres for importation of ______Powell and 3 negroes, having assigned his right to Wm. Cook, Sr. Certificate to John Best for 250 acres for importation of himself, John Best, Jr., Mary his wife, Jane Best and Joseph Rudd, who assigned his right to Wm. Cook. Certificate to Humphra Barnes for 150 acres for importation of himself. Humphra his son, Ann his wife, he having assigned his right to Wm. Cook. Certificate granted Edward Miller for 250 acres for importaiton of 5 persons, having assigned his right to Wm. Cook. (Endorsed on back of Cft.) Wm. Cook makes over 850 acres to Hugh Mathews 17 June 1667. John Jackson, Humphrey Barnes.
Hugh Mathews binds himself to pay Wm. Cook for 100 acres of land for the use of Thomas Ward out of 850 acres Wm. Cook has sold unto Hugh Mathews. 17 June 1667. John Jackson, Humphrey Barnes.
William Cook and Mary, my now wife, sell to Thomas Carter, Jr., son of Thomas Carter of this county, decd., 400 acres in Isle of Wight, part of a patent we lived on before moving into Surry. 9 Aug 1669. John Litford, Joseph Fort.

Wm. Cooke, Jr., 360 acres 3 Feb 1664. Beg. at a meadow at the head of a branch of the Blackwater, running S.W., for trans. of 8 persons.
Wm. Miles and Wm. Cooke, Sr., 1100 acres 29 Sept 1664. On second branch of the Blackwater at upper corner of John Oliver's land and running down to Mr. Englands, for trans. of 22 pers.
Wm. Cooke, Oct 9, 1670, 800 acres upon the second branch of the Blackwater adj. land of Capt. Baker.
