1815 Landowners of IOW

Norsworthy, George; Rasco Neck; 13 miles east of courthouse and 4 miles southeast of courthouse.

Norsworthy, Joseph, and others; Rasco Neck; 12E.
Norsworthy, Joseph; edge of Ragged Island; 14NE.
Norsworthy, Rachel; Rasco Neck; 13SE, 4SE.
Norsworthy, Thomas; 7SE.
Norsworthy, Thompson, estate; Rasco Neck; 13SE, 4SE.
Norsworthy, Thos; near Chappel; 8SW.

In 1815 I have no Mears other than Ned, a free negroe at 8E.
There are no Thompson males listed at this same time period.

Boddie's book:
I have a George who married Christian dau. of Jeremiah Exum. She made her will in 1727. (too early for your lady). Their issue were: Christian, Elizabeth who married John Monro; Martha who married John Bressie and George who married Rachel, relict of Thomas Parker. This George who married Christian Exum was the son of Tristram Norsworthy.

Also noted in Boddie's book a statement that George had a first wife (not named) before Christian Exum.

I found a Richard Mears who married in York Co VA in 1786 to Anne Penney.

Sorry I don't have any more books more current with an answer to your quest.
