Book: 17th Century IOW by Boddie

Anthony Crocker was the first of this family in IOW. He married Ann, dau of John Francis and made his will in 1693. His son Wm. died in 1735 (See will), and another son, Edward, made his will in 1752 and named children, Martha, wife of Ambrose Hadley; Thomas, dsp, and Wm. "This Wm. Crocker built, in 1756, the house now on the Crocker estate. He died in 1791 leaving Molly, Joseph, Sally, Henry, John, Milner, and Major William who inherited the home place and married on June 9, 1778, Elizabeth Wilson, dau of Willis Wilson of Surry Co and Sarah Bland his wife of IOW.
