Do you have any info on the children of Josiah and Elizabeth besides just their names and your particular branch?

I have to either prove or disprove that Josiah's son, Josiah, is my ggggrandfather. I am not sure how to proceed because the first six of my Josiah's children are born in NC from 1801 to 1810. I haven't found the other 2 on the census to find out where they were born. Have you ever heard of the Wrenns going to NC to live?

A cousin said that he has found a Josiah on the 1810 IOW census and says this is our man. I however, am not ready to assume that becasuse the 1850 census said that Josiah was born in NC just like his kids. I just can't see him going back to VA to be counted on the census. I feel like there are more than 2 Josiahs here.

I really need something to nail down this Josiah, Jr. A marriage would be great. Or, if Josiah, Sr. left a Will with some data. We only know that my Josisah's wife is a DICEY, but I couldn't find out if this is a nickname or not. I feel sure it is, but I have no idea what the given name would be.

Do you have knowledge of any other documents that might help me straighten this mess out?

Thanks.
Eleanor
