All I know is what is in the book: 17th Century IOW by Boddie.

John, Lt. Col of militia, made his will in 1702. He speaks of himself as Col. John Pitt of Bristol now living in IOW and devises land left him by his father Col. Robert Pitt. He married Olive Hardy, widow of Giles Driver, who after his death married the Rev. Andrew Monro.
Children:
Robert, m. Sarah, dau of Col. Arthur Smith and left son Robert who made his will in 1711.
John
Henry
James
Sarah m. Tristram Norsworthy
Prudence m. Charles Driver
Mary m. Drury
Martha m. George Norsworthy

Let me also state that this work by Boddie is always to be taken with a grain of salt.
