Hi, John,

It's my husband who is the Mondy/Monday/ Munday. The first ancestor we can document is James Monday b 1795 in Tenn. He had a brother Samuel born 1803 probably also in Tenn. The family may have been in VA previous to moving to Claiborne Co., TN. (I am just the guy playing genealogist for the Monday clan.) James Monday married Elizabeth Hamilton whose father Dr. Jos. Hamilton arrived in VA in 1780 from Ireland. We would like to know more about your Samuel. Our data are not carved in marble and we keep looking. Also for my Crumplers in IOW. They have all mostly covered their tracks well. Thanks for answering. Pat
