I am researching the Chapman family. Francis, who was in Surry in 1608 and on. He married The daughter of William Perry. I believe he is the father of Charles Chapman married to Ann Day. Charles son, Charles, was married I think to Ann Bennett. their son John was married to Frances Ward dau of Thomas Ward. Their son John was married to Ann Unknown. If anyone has info on any of these people or their families I would love to share. All of the Chapman family lived in Isle of Wight county for many generations until some migrated to NC and then to Ga.
