Wow, to see so much Norsworthy info is very exciting. I am looking for information concerning my great grandmother Ella May Norsworthy 4/14/1881 to 2/16/64 of Isle of Wight. She married Campbell Gresham of King and Queen and they lived in Newport News. She doesn't show up in any of the census of her time. Many of the older family members say she was Native American and might have been adopted. Her father was John Norsworthy of Isle of Wight. He moved his family to Newport News approx 1898 and vowed, I am told, never to cross the bridge again. When family members asked, people in Isle of Wight would refuse to tell why he left . Just one of the mysteries concerning this family. I would love to know what happened to make him leave his home. Ella May Norsworthy also left a mysterious message for me when she died that I can't figure out. Thank you anyone who can help. Robin
