3 April 1751....John Thomas of Nansemond County to John Daughtry, son of William of IOW...105 acres on the south side of Kingsale Swamp adjoining the said John Daughtry, the Queens Grave Swamp, Owins Meadow Branch, Thomas Vaughan and James Uzzell. Land is part of a patent for 1650 acres granted Richard Thomas, Jonathan Robinson and John Saunders on 23 April 1681 and said Richard Thomas willed 550 acres on 8 April 1687 to his son, John Thomas, and his three daughters viz Phoebe Thomas, Elizabeth Thomas and Sarah Thomas. At the death of the said John Thomas, his son John Thomas became seized of the land. Wit: Lemuel Riddick, James Holt and Exum Scott. Recorded 4 April 1751.
1 May 1751....John Winborn and wife Phoebe of the upper parish of Nansemond Co to Joseph Holland, son of Henry Holland, decd....75 acres on the south side of Kingsale Swamp adjoining Mr. Isaac Flemming. Wit: Henry Holland, Robert Holland and Job Holland.
1 May 1771....John Thomas and wife, Mary to Benjamin Glover 100 acrres (being land bought from William Thomas who had received it from the will dated 13 Oct 1761 of his father, Richard Thomas) adjoining William Crocker, John Crocker, William Rand, the Bridge Branch and William Blunt.
16 July 1764...William Thomas to John Thomas...160 acres (being land willed to William Thomas by his father, Richard Thomas on 30 Oct 1761) adjoining William Crocker, the Mill Pond of William Rande, Sarah Westray, Capt. Robert Tynes, William Blunt and the Bridge Branch. Wit: William Jordan, Joseph Crocker, Joseph Womble, Jr. and Moses Exum. Recorded 7 Feb 1765
4 Oct 1756...John Thomas, son of Richard Thomas, to Phillip Moody...Mary Moody, daughter of the said Philip Moody, was married to the said John Thomas on 15 May 1756...Benjamin Pines was to make a marriage gift of money and Negros. Wit: John Cooke, Twiat Velline and Robert Edwards. Recorded 3 Mar 1757.
3 June 1756...Deed of Gift of Richard Thomas and wife, Ellenor Thomas to William Haywood and wife, Sarah Haywood my well beloved niece for love and affection 150 acres (being the land my father Richard Thomas gave me by deed of gift) adjoining the Mill Swamp and Ransome (?)
26 Jan 1756...Deed of Gift of Richard Thomas and wife Elenor, to his son John Thomas...100 acres (being land said Richard Thomas boought from Robert Skinow (Skinner?) adjoining George Goodrick, Edward Hailes Mill Swamp, the Horse Neck Branch, Luke Wiggs, William Wrenn and Joseph Clark. Wit: Richard Jordan.

23 May 1743...Thomas Hobgood of the upper parish of Nansemond Co to Thomas Vaughan of the same...135 acres in Newport Parish adjoining said Vaughan, Henry dillion, Thomas Sanders, Kingsale Swamp and John Thomas (being part of a patent for 1650 acres granted to Jonathan Robinson, Richard Thomas, and John Sanders on 23 April 1782 and was devised by said Richard Thomas to his daughter, Elizabeth Thomas, who conveyed it to Robert Sanders on 27 Oct 1712 who devised it to his cousin, Richard Sanders, in his will dated 12 July 1734 who, in turn, devised it to the said Thomas Hobgood in a deed dated 15 Nov 1742. Wit: John Winborne, Jr., James Roe and Henry Hobgood.
12 Jan 1744...Thomas Sanders of Newport Parish in IOW to Joseph Holland of the upper parish of Nansemond Co...235 acres in Newport Parish on Kingsale Swamp and the Queens Grave Swamp adjoining John Winborne, said Sanders, the Narrow Neck Branch and Thomas Vaughan (being part of a patent for 1650 acres granted Jonathan Robinson, Richard Thomas, and John Sanders on 23 April 1681 and the aforesaid Sanders devised his part to his four sons and through several conveyances Thomas Sanders became seized of this 325 acres). Wit: John Winborne, James Uzzell and Joseph Holland Jr. Recorded 25 Feb 1745
