Vol & Ria:

The Reverend Robert Braswell's church was known as St. Lukes. According to information from Nona Williams, a Braswell descendant, it is the oldest church of English foundation in America and is located about 2 miles from present day Smithfield. There is a picture of it at www.nonawilliams.com/braswell
