Col. Robert Pitt married a daughter of George Stevens. He made his will June 6, 1672 and was proven June 9, 1674. His children were:

Col Joseph Bridger and wife Hester Pitt had seven children:

Hester, m. George Williamson
Samuel, m. Elizabeth Woory (dau. of Thos. Godwin of Suffolk
William, m. Elizabeth Allen Caufield, sister to Arthur Allen of Surry
Joseph, who was disinherited by his father because he had grown disobediant. (Joseph must have reformed after his father's death as he was able to go to court and get most of the inheritance his father had originally intended for him.
Col. Joseph Bridger owned the plantation called "White Marsh".
