This is helpful information:

I follow you; however...

Hwy 158 should read US 258 [it's changed since 1938]
Route 503 should read CR 603

The mouth of Corrowaugh Swamp is about 1 miles S of CR603 (the Blackwater Bridge). Just north of US258, it is joined by Ducks Swamp- part of which was called Bows and Arrows Swamp.

There are several swamps you are not counting-
Kingsale [Kinsale] Swamp enters the Blackwater River below Franklin.
Horse Swamp enters at the Blackwater Bridge.
Antioch Swamp is next, going N (upstream); it seems identical with what an early map* showed as Burk's Swamp; Burnt Mills Swamp is a tributary.
Pope Swamp enters the Blackwater about a mile N of Zuni
Vellines Swamp enters just above the Broadwater Bridge (CR620); it was shown* as Seeward's [SEWARD's].
Rattlesnake Swamp is the last major watercourse in the county (on this course); Mill Swamp & Pouches Swamp are tributary.
[Vellines Mill seems to have been on Rattlesnake Swamp @ CR681- not on Vellines Swamp.]

Some of the patents mention "great swamps" which may be a clue.

Another major clue is that one patent mentions a fork between the 2d & 3d -
either one is a tributary of the other, or it refers to a situation such as the narrow neck between Vellines & Rattlesnake Swamp.
Thomas Parnell, 21 Jan 1679, VPB7:18,
150a in a forke between the second & third swamp...

The Deed Data Pool is keyed to the program, but there is other useful data in the abstracts.
