Francis Hobbs Sr. sells to Joseph Bridger for 4257 lbs tobacco a dwelling house and plantation he lives on of 250 acres, formerly pat. to Nathaniel Floyd a former husband of my now wife Mary. 19 Jan 1674. Henry Cox, Hugh Jones.
The 850 acres (you mentioned) belonged to Nathaniel Floyd and since his death escheated and was granted to Joseph Bridger by pat. 22 July 1678, who now sells to Joan, relict of Robert Burnett dec., and at her death to Robert Williamson son of (Dr. Robert Williamson whose will was dated 16 Feb 1669). Dated 8 Aug 1683. (Joan had married Dr. Robert Williamson).
Nathaniel Floyd 850 acres 20 Nov 1637. 600 acres 4 miles up the main creek lying between 2 creeks and 250 up near the head of the main creek for trans. 17 persons including Ambrose Proctor and Mathew Tomlin.
