Appreciate your posts regarding Christopher Reynolds of Isle of Wight from 2001. It is welcomed to find a careful and detailed researcher.

Your research of Christ. Reynolds indicates the numerous records you locally have available.

Have you also researched the original Murphy/Murphey of Isle of Wight and his decendants? Have you found records regarding his parentage, migration to the U.S. and where he was born? Do you know which counties in Virginia and elsewhere his descendants migrated?

Have you researched Peter Ransom/Ranson of Isle of Wight? Besides other information on him, have you found information on his parentage and his roots in England? Do you have information on his descendants who settled across the Potomac in Maryland?

It is unusual that my husband and I have ancestors in the identical county in the same time periods, but possibly not if they were early Virginia settlers.
