Looking for a researcher/genealogist

I am trying to track down a "certificate of importation" that was issued to Carolus Anderson of IofW for the importation of 4 persons into Va., one of whom was Thomas Weeks. Anderson was granted the 180a of land from this certificate in 1726, but I am trying to find exactly when Anderson made his initial request so that I can determine when these 4 persons actually came into VA.

Since IofW never lost any records, perhaps this certificate is still recorded somewhere. From what I am able to understand the time from the original filing to the actual issuance of the land grant could be 5-7 years.

I am happy to pay someone to look this up for me.

Walter Weeks
Tampa, FL
