If you have anything about the early Webb's I'd appreciate it. I know that Silvester/Sylvester died Feb. 9, 1884, but haven't found where he was buried. He married my ancester, Elizabeth "Betsy" Jones in 1816 in Henry Co. They were on the 1820 census in Rockingham Co. NC. There were two male children under 5. I know one was William D. Webb (born abt. 1818) in VA. He was my gggrandfather. I don't know the name of the other, but would like to. Maybe he died when a young child. Apparently Betsy Jones Webb died soon after 1820 because in 1823 Sylvester married Rachel Thomas, daughter of Augustine Thomas in Patrick Co. Maybe Sylvester was buried around her Thomas family????? Betsy could have been buried around her Jones/King family, but I haven't found her name since her marriage record. Anything you know about any Webb's there in 1700's and 1800's will be appreciated.
Thank you.
