Early Rogers Family

I am looking for info on David Rogers, son of William of Bedford, Co. David was b.c. 1735-40 and lived in Henry Co.. He was in the Henry Co. Militia in the Rev. Was a Sarg. with George Rogers Clark in the Illinois Campaign in winter of 1778/9, then received a commission as Lieut. in Henry Co. in March 1779. Associated with Lawsons, Lyons, Shelby.
His only known son George went to Hawkins Co., Tn in 1795-1800.
