I located Ramsey Creek on a survey map of 17 Apr 1752 for James Power & Samuel Jordan.
(Pittsylvania Co., VA, 1746-1863, FLH Microfilm 0033324, pg. 36). I still believe that
it is in Henry Co.

The survey map includes Ramseys Creek which was drawn perpendicular to Grassy
Creek and Jordan's Creek. Also, running through Ramseys Creek was the "Irish road".

Does this "ring any bells"?

Blessings,

Katherine Satterwhite West
