Visiting Henry County, Va., this August ,

Anyone in the Henry County, Virginia area who are interested in geneaology would be welcomed to offer advice and insight to a first visit from a Great Grandson.
My Family is the Kennons, Cousins, Jones, Artis, Manns, Goins, Echols, Browns, Chavis, Dunning, Early, Gee, Colbert, Byrd, Hicks, Poythress, Morris, Harris, Schoolfield, Webb.
This is the first visit to the actual County of my ancestors, although I've visited Richmond and two of the Powhatan reservations several years ago, it didn't prove to be productive...although enlightening.
My ancestors, before making the trek to Greene County, Ohio were located in Henry and Franklin County, Va.. More specifically, if they even exist as of now, Horsepasture and Reed Creek. Great Grandfather came from Rocky Mount, Virginia.
Anyone who has an interest in this research and is willing to share info, contact me for the long weekend this August this year that I am going to make.
Would love to contact anyone with ties to these Black/Indian/White matter what their status is now!
