HUTCHESON: Charles,Paul,William&Lewis

We have information from Terry L. Hutchison which suggests that our JOHN HUTCHESON who is shown on the 1817 Tax Lists of LAWRENCE COUNTY, TN may have descended from Charles or Paul Hutcheson who resided in the Henry/Franklin Counties of VA during the Revolutionary War, and then migrated into East TN late in the 18th century settling in Grainger Co. TN by about 1815. Charles and Paul Hutcheson appear to be connected with WILLIAM and LEWIS HUTCHESON who appeared in nearby Hawkins Co. TN. All of their property was sold in Grainger Co. TN by about 1815 and they appeared elsewhere during the following years, some of them in Bledsoe Co. TN and others in Lawrence Co. TN. Also on the 1817 Tax Lists of Lawrence County TN is COLEMAN HUTCHESON. We would greatly appreciate any information anyone might have to help us establish the parentage of JOHN HUTCHESON who married NANCY, and was the father of JESSE HUTCHESON.
