Mount Erin

I have seen several references to a place in Henrico Ct., Va. in the 1870's to a place called Mount Erin. I believe this area was later annexed to the City of Richmond, Va. There is a street in the Fulton Hill area of Richmond called Mount Erin Drive. Can anyone tell me anything about this Mt. Erin?
