Excellent, Tom Jones, thank you. But let me ask you, do
you think it's possible that there may be another L.R.Smith and that's why the name is listed twice?

I wonder if Robert B. Smith had brothers who may have had
a son named L.R. Too? I had not heard of a soldier's name appearing twice. After Pvt. Lucian Reynolds Smith's name
was there a KIA notation?

Would you happen to recognize the other Smith soldiers?
ie: S. Smith, Artillery and W. Smith, Infantry?
