STERLING RICE and STEPHEN RICE families in Halifax County Virginia

I am in need of information on the STERLING RICE and STEPHEN RICE families in Halifax County, Virginia.

Sterling Rice married Feb 3, 1816 in Prince Edward County, Virginia to Ann Fleming. He married again Nov 13, 1823 in Halifax County, Virginia to Obedience G. Nichols. Sterling apparently died before 1846. I would like to find info on his descendants.

Stephen Rice also died before 1846. Six of his children were still minors at that time. Their guardian was Thomas A. Coleman.

I do not know the name of Stephen Rice's wife. His children were: Mary E. Rice, E.O. Rice, Emily S. Rice, Sarah Rice, R. R. Rice, James S. Rice, Permelia Ann Rice, Abram F. Rice, and David B. Rice, per Stephen's brother James Rice's estate records in Williamson County, Tennessee 1840-1846.

Any help on these two families would be greatly appreciated. Both were brothers, and sons of Samuel and Eleanor Rice. Samuel died 1807 Prince Edward County, Virginia. Eleanor was born in Castlebar, Ireland in 1757 and died 1 October 1846 in Williamson County, Tennessee.

I have a great deal of information on other lines of this HUGE Rice family, and adding more and more as I find documentation.
