Newspaper sources for Halifax

Since there are very few ancient newspapers for Halifax County(that survived) I`ve been looking at other papers, in hopes of finding info on residents of Halifax County. The `Bowens Virginia Centinel and Gazette` reports" The Honorable Paul Carrington, Esquire, a judge of the High Court of Appeals, in his 65th year married Miss Simms of Halifax, aged 15 on the 6th of April, 1792" This was the April 9th 1792 edition also a short mention in the Virginia Gazette lists the death of Samuel Jones, late of Halifax.(Virginia Gazette, May 7th, 1767). Also the same paper lists, in the October 18, 1797 edition"Richard Jones, Deceased, his executor, Samuel Clay, will sell all of his household and kitchen furniture and livestock." As I find these articles I will post them here
