1757 to 1771 was William Samuel Harris. From 1771 untill 1781 was the infamous Obadiah Echols. From 1781 untill 1790, William Dodson served. !790 to 1796 Samuel Brame served. 1796 to 1807 Mathew Bates served and from 1807 to 1818 John Kerr Sr. served. A 1781 catalogue of names listed; Obadiah Echols, Thomas Lovelace, joseph Morrison, Charles Womack, Lewis Haley, Shadrack Young, Ambrose Haley, Isham Farmer, Travis Tune, John Midkiff, John Freeman, Samuel Tindle. females; Caty Echols, Agnes Womack, Tabitha Lovelace, Margaret Morrison, Elizabeth Tindle, Mary Powell, Eleanor Adams(deceased), Leana Haley, Elizabeth Haley, Temperance Haley, Judith Kurlock, Rebecca Ferguson, Rhoda Rieves, Hannah Young, Mary Wilson, Ann Freeman, Catherine Williams, Winnfret Sullins, Mary Carter, Agnes Midkiff, Elizabeth Jennings, Frances Fears(dismissed by letter). black males were; Solomon, Peter, Isaac, Ned, Abraham. black females; Tanner Hannah, Jumah, Betty, Peg.
