Larry
Have you by chance run across any other militia records for Halifax Co? I recently found a pension application that stated my ancestor Hackley Warren was a Sgt in a Halifax Co militia unit commanded by Capt Charles Booker in 1781. I'm wondering what other proof I might be able to find of this service. Hackley never filed a pension application or applied for any bounty land as far as I can determine.
