Halifax County Polls for the 1760`s
Posted by: Jack Burks Date: March 15, 2001 at 05:43:49

In the back of the Halifax County Deed book number 3 I found lists of voters for the local elections with literally hundreds of names. Only white male landowners were allowed to vote. Not all the spelling is correct, but if you need to know if your ancestor was in Halifax at that time this would be one way to find out
