I don't have time to go into records in Halifax Co., Va at the moment as I am on a deadline to get another genealogy project finished by end of weekend.

I remember finding this info a few years ago as i had searched for a long time to figure out who my Sarah Wimbish Owen was out of.

I had found some info online but did not write it down at the time.

My Sarah Rebecca Wimbish - b. 1 Mar. 1803 Halifax Co., VA - d. 1825 Halifax, VA - married Stephen W Owen b. 1790 Halifax - d. 15 May 1858 Wilson, TN So...I would assume they were married either 1819 - 1820 at the latest, had the daughter and 5 years later Sarah rebecca died.

What was so difficult in my search is that her name was recorded as Sarah Winbush...it took me a while to realize that it was a mispelling of Wimbish.

I won't claim that this is perfect research. As I said..I found some obscur record or posting regarding this.

When I get time I will go research this again.
Thanks for the heads up...there is always room for improvement in my research.

Licia

daughter of Sarah Rebecca Wimbish Owen was Sarah Wimbish Owen b. 17 Nov. 1820 Halifax, VA - she was approx. 5 years old when she lost her mother.
