charlie was married to betty may hobbs from sampson co. her dad died and her mom, hattie jones hobbs, moved to henderson, nc with her 3 brothers. no sign of her or charlie. however, you will find them and their son,
raymond andrew murray in raleigh. someone stated back in 1999 that charlie moved to possibly, maryland. however, their is a picture somewhere of him and his mom in later life. it is said that not much is know of charlie. i do know she wife left raleigh in the 70's for a week to attend his funeral. where? we don't know.
