Tell your friend to look up inventory of estate of John Rogers Sept 9, 1797 in Person Co. N. C. It mentions Ann Link as a daughter. Go to rootsweb.com for biographies of Turner,Rogers and Black families. It is 32 pages long and interesting. It is funny, I have a Roy Rogers in my line. He died in Texas last year at age 91. The William Rogers and the Indian lady sounds like a clue for me. Do not know where to start.
