Elizabeth,
I am kin to the Bryant's in Va. Our family came originally from Richmond Co/Northumberland Va. and then went to Botetourt Co., Va. This has been documented. But what I would like to know is , are our families connected? Some of the same first names are in Halifax and Richmond Co. In some records my great grandfather was born in Bedford, Va. and in another he was born in Halifax Co. Joseph Reuben Bryant , born about 1858 to Jesse Reuben Bryant and Mary. Jesse's father was Lewis Bryant md. to Mary Short in 1844 in Botetourt Co., Va. There were a lot of Bryants and who knows how they are connected.
Any help appreciated.
Linda
