I noticed your surname was Chandler - am trying to find connections between the Hooker family line and the Chandlers, Packs, Goins and Lawsons. I feel these families might have been connected/related back even earlier in VA - maybe Bedford Co.,VA early 1700s or before.

We know of connections between the Hookers/Chandlers/Packs/ Lawsons of Patrick Co.,VA in the early 1800s. There was a Wm. Hooker listed in a court case in Halifax Co.,VA c 1753. Some Lawsons of Halifax Co.,VA moved to Stokes Co.,NC; one Lawson, Jerusha, married a Wm Hooker there - both were b c 1755. Jerusha was b in Halifax Co.,VA - we are not sure about her husband Wm Hooker but he may have been b in Halifax Co.,VA.

Lawons and Packs, Chandlers and Goins also married Hookers in Patrick Co.,VA and maybe Henry Co.,VA (or even Pittsylvania Co.,VA).
