Leona, was just re-reading your posting and saw that your ancestor is a Henry Scott. Do you have any evidence of his being in Wayne Co., KY ca. 1806? My Wm. Scott, b. ca. 1755, along with Henry and Nathaniel Scott are listed on an 1806 Wayne tax list. Have not been able to identify all of Wm. Scott's children, but have been thinking that Henry and Nathaniel were probably his sons, but now I'm not so sure. Wm. Scott had a brother-in-law Henry Blanchett; my assumption was that Wm. had named a son for him. Get back to me if this is your Henry Scott. KRB
