Hi folks, I was born and raised in the area, and can tell you from personal experience that the county courthouse is your best resource. Both the county library and South Boston libraries have small collections of genealogies. Some data can be found in Danville, since the areas are close in proximity, and you may find information on families from the southern portions of the county in Person County Library, NC.
