The Cherokee never maintained any kind of tribal presence in Virginia. After being forced out of what is now Tennessee in the late 1700's/early 1800's, the Cherokee settled in parts of Georgia and Alabama, only to be forcefully removed in 1838/1839 to Indian Territory (OK).

This family appears to be white, not Indian.
