My ancestor James A Turner b. c 1770 came to Jasper County, Georgia c 1800 from Virginia. He married Mary Lurannah ?? c 1800. They had children Elizabeth, James Peyton, John, and Lurannah. I have noticed there was an E. Peyton Turner in Greensville County c 1900. My ancestor always lived near the Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednigo Turners in Jasper and Stewart Counties, Georgia. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone? Thanks.
