I am researching Matthew Becks who was freed by the will of his master in 1851. I am very interested in locating the following:
1.The Kirtley place in 1851- probably in Rockingham County near Elkton(?)
2.Any Kirtley documents, diaries from the period 1800-1900.
3. Any Becks- white or black 18th century through today.
4. Any Kirtley descendents who have info on St.Clair K. and family.
