TIPTON's, ISAAC & WILLIAM (bef 1839)

WILLIAM A. TIPTON, b. 1839 in VA. He married Nancy Jane Hoard in 1859 in Talladega co., AL. Then in the AL 1900 Census WILLIAM A. TIPTON, stated that his father was b. in VA and his mother in TN. On WILLIAM's death certificate (1927) it states father was ISAAC TIPTON, b. in VA and mother was UNKNOWN.

Can anyone plez help me with this line it has been very hard to trace.
