My gggrandfather, Jim (Chew) Slaughter and his wife Comora Estes lived on or near Lewis Mtn-he is said to be buried near Devil's Ditch. Anyone having any info on these Slaughters or the area, please contact me laurie678@webtv.net.
Also, it is said that the land was sold, or at least a portion of it, to Scott and Cora Roach in 1897. Thanks
