This map will give you somewhere to start/look at/get to etc.

It is a map of the Trail of Tears 1838, 1839.

Grayson County Virginia was almost in this area, and some people from this area went along on the trip, one way or the other.

If you need more info, you may want to read the records kept by the military officers in charge of the groups. You will get better locations (town/place/location names) along the routes.
