Wiley was the son of Harvey Columbus ANDERSON and Keziah HOLLOWAY (HOLDAWAY). Paternal grandparents were Thomas and Sarah ANDERSON; maternal grandparents were John HOLLOWAY and Mary Ellen ROSE. Harvey and Keziah had thirteen children but I've not found any evidence of their spending time in Hawkins Co and there's no Eli/Elijah listed among the thirteen known children. Harvey and Keziah were married in Grayson and died in Tazewell Co.

Although I do not know the parents of Eli/Elijah, the fact that he was born in Hawkins Co makes him more likely to be related in some way to George Swimpfield ANDERSON. Again the name does not appear among the long list of his known children. George Swimpfield moved from Grayson to Hawkins Co and at least one of his sons returned to the Grayson/Ashe area.
