My Grandfather lived in Mouth of Wilson with a family named Randolph Thomas as a 5 yr old boy in 1870. In 1880 he is listed as a servant of a family named Young. He married my grandmother in Harrison Co, Ky in 1886. Witness was a W. S Wilson. Grandfather's name was Stephen Marlin, her name was Issaphana Williams ( Phana Belle) (Fannie)( Fannia)John A Williams gave oral consent. One census says Steve was born in Va, the other says N.C. He is supposed to have had a cherokee mother. Can't find any record with any parents name. Can anyone help me sort this out? Thanks Janet
