Im not sure if this info is on the New River Notes page or not. This comes from the book 50th VA Inf, by John Chapula. Pg130
Bishop, James L. pvt Co D B.1838 Enl. Fork of Wilson, Grayson Co, 6/4/61. Present in unit 11/1/61. Named on clothing rolls 9/64 through 12/23/64. PWT says WIA "slightly...in some battle" and promoted to Capt. Living, age 62, Grayson Co. 5/25/1900 and 6/9/1902.
