I have a great-great-great-great grandfather also named Jesse Williams. I'm wondering if it might be the same Jesse. I don't know Jesse's wife's name. His son Daniel was born about 1811 in Grayson Co. VA. - Rebecca Baker
I came across this at the VA State Library:
GRANTEE Lennard, William. grantee.
DATE 4 March 1806.
NOTE Location: Grayson County.
NOTE Description: 200 acres oa a branch of New River adjoin.g the lands of John Kinworthy, Jesse Williams and Obadiah Lennard.
