The Carroll/Grayson Marriages by John Perry Alderman has a Richard Taylor marrying a Milley Britt on January 22, 1810 surety by John Britt. Must be a different Richard. Also the 1870 annotated census for Grayson has Taylor, Richard 48 Farmer, Nancy 44 Keeping house (Blind), Peggy 22, Caroline 21, Matilda 19, Samuel 17 at school, David 14 at school, William 11 at school, Nancy 10 at school, Sarah 4, Emily 2, William E 10/12ths b. Aug 1869. Same as family 833 1860 census. Additional note: David Taylor married Samantha Benge on 3/21/1880.

Hope this is some help
