Hi Julia,

I am researching a John R. Anderson 1830 of Grayson Co. he married a Mary/Polly ? He is my husband's ggggrandfather. According to his son's death certificate he and his wife were born in Grayson Co. in the Flatridge area. She is listed as Mary or Polly on the records that I have. Their children are:

William Jackson b.ll/29/1852 Flatridge, Grayson Co.,d.10/28/1928 Chilhowie, Smyth Co m. Mary Paulina Fisher(4/21/1845-8/28/1934)d/o Levi Fisher and Nancy Dodson also living in Grayson Co.

James F. b.4/1/1855 Grayson Co. m. Mary ?
Ludema/Luzena b. 1857 Grayson or Smyth Co.
David M. b. 2/4/1859 Grayson Co.
Susan b. 1862 per census
John T. b. 1862 per census

John R. Anderson and his wife Mary are my brick wall! Since they were born and lived all their lives in Grayson, I'm trying to tie them in with some of the other Anderson's in Grayson. I have some ideas because of naming patterns, but no real leads yet.

The Anderson's in my husband's family all stayed in the Grayson, Smyth and Washington Cos.

Rhonda Anderson
