Thank you for your information.
However my ancestor Archibald was born in 1775 in VA which would not be feasible to be John's son born later i.e. after the war. I have his wife's name (Sarah b. 1775 VA) and his children, my ancestor being Isaac b. 1800, his oldest som. I am in touch with a descendant of John, Archy's brother and also with a descendant of Prior (Pryor). I have requested the records of Archibald (1) and hope this will clear things up a bit.Thanks.
