Is there anyone who can help me with info of mining accidents and deaths. My ggggrandfather, last name Johnson, first name unknown, was killed in a mining accident abt. 1834 in Grayson/Caroll CO. My gggrandfather William W. Johnson b. 1824 Grayson/Carroll Co, VA, was abt. 10 yrs old at the time of his father's death. The mother was to have moved sometime after that to OH-IN area, with children. Any help with this info would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You,
Janice Hoff
