Orphans William McKee and Arthur McKee

William McKee and Arthur McKee were bound by the County Court in Grayson Co VA in 1811 to Court member John Comer. The orphans transcription lists them as Kee. Could the written record have a space between the Mc and Kee? The next I find them in Grayson Co is in 1828 PPTL (Personal Property Tax List) with 1 "tithe" each. I search the Arthur McKee line, married Rosannah (?), in possibly Ashe Co NC. In 1850 (Campbell Co TN) oldest child in the household was born about 1827, so guess marriage was 1826 or earlier. William McKee is on Grayson VA PPTL 1835, 2 tithes, 1 horse .06 tax. He may have married a Sarah "Sallie" Davis and lived in Washington Co VA. Is there anyone in Grayson VA who might have info on these two boys? I do not have parents' names or the boys' dates of birth or where parents died and were buried. I am trying to trace my mother's McKee line to Arthur McKee who would be her Great Great Grandfather. Betty Jo Moss
