Hale's of Grayson County, VA.

Iím looking for info on my gg grandfather, John Hale. He may have been born 1815 in Grayson County, VA. My gg grandfather, John Hale is listed in the 1850 census for Perry County, KY and the 1860 census for Magoffin County, KY. A birth record for one of his sons (Brackenridge Hale) born 1861 in Magoffin County, KY, shows John Haleís birth place as Wythe County, VA. According to a researcher at the Wythe County, VA Genealogical & Historical Association, no Haleís were found in the 1820 census for Wythe County. But, they did find in the 1820 census for Grayson County, the following adult Hales/Hails with boys under or equal to 5 years old: Lewis, John, Richard, William, Preston, B. Thos, Burris, and Stephen. Does anyone have any info on these or other Haleís in Grayson County, VA? Thanks for any help.

John Hale
